One of the greatest experiences of my Milan trip – a visit to the showroom of the Dutch brand MOOOI.
I’ve already shared my impressions from Amsterdam store of this brand (you can read here). But I’ve got the different impression of how the brand was presented in Milan.
Yes, I can confirm again that each of the designer works of MOOOI is worthy of a separate room – they take all the attention. I’m sure, only experienced designer with good taste can arrange several MOOOI items in the same room (particularly if it’s just a flat, rather than the huge hotel lobby) .
But if they do everything as did the shop designers under the leadership of art director Marcel Wanders, the interior will look simply stunning.
On the wall you can see a photo of Rebecca Bathory made in Chernobyl.
Who else can arrange the sofa in this way?
As Arihiro Miyake said to me in the interview, MOOOI is constantly in search of new talent. In practice, the company will apply all of the latest technologies and ideas.
The Compression sofa of British designer Paul Cocksedge, you can usually buy made of compressed foam, in the exhibition it was made of marble.
Novelty – Space-Frame light by Marcel Wanders.
Umut Yamac’s Perch Light.
Carpets with 3D effect.
And some beautiful pictures from the MOOOI official site.
Huge photos of Rebecca Bathory added depth collection.
I recommend to make a virtual tour in the showroom.
