Villa at Øresund

Hello! I’m back! In fact, I did not disappear, I just moved, and in the new house there was no Internet for more than a month. Yes, it happens in the Netherlands!

This large villa faces the Øresund bay between Denmark and Sweden, and on clear days you can see the Swedish coast from the house. Here lives a couple with three children.

Previous owners renovated the entire house with the best materials without compromising anything, so the couple could just move in as it was.  So they could comfortably and quietly figure out how to use the different rooms and where the furniture would be placed before they started painting and changing.

One thing that the family discovered quite quickly – the excess of white walls. It became a bit annoying for the members of the family, specially considering the house baths in the daylight for much of the year. Therefore, several walls were painted in blue, green and gray shades. This gives a more relaxed atmosphere in the house.

Light wooden floors, high white painted wooden panels and many windows define the Scandinavian style of the interior, which here looks light and airy.
