Amee Allsop – New York-based Australian architect designed this house for the Australian client also based in New York City. She fell in love with this 1.86 acre wooded property as it reminded her of home.
The basis for the house was the existing house, built in the 1980s. Nevertheless, it took all gut renovation and housing reconstruction to maximize the space by adding logic and simplicity.
Amee made minimalistic interior – a white space with a strict black accents. But around the house there is a riot of greenery.
Some would say, that such an interior is boring and cold, but I am just stoked on it, I would live in this house!
