At home with Lena Heady

I don’t publish often in my blog photographs of celebrities homes because I usually do not share their tastes. Even if celebrity house does not look pompous, they usually choose for their abodes style “American classic” which I do not really like.

I was very surprised when in Dwell magazine I saw the house of Lena Headey from “Game of Thrones”. Can you imagine, she does not live in a castle with stone walls. Lena prefers mid-century modern style, which I love. So I would share it with you.

The house, built in the 1950s, is located in the San Fernando Valley, this place is an absolutely “normal” suburb of Los Angeles, the place is not stellar, the usual American paradise to raise children.

Lena did not invite famous designers, she designed her house on her own.

I will list several significant things that you see at Lena and which create a mid-century style. These are: ARTERIORS Home Keegan 30 Light ChandelierRoar + Rabbit Brass Geo Inlay NightstandLulu & Georgia Kennet PendantMaya Swivel Chair,Roar + Rabbit Jeweled 6-Drawer DresserDandelion cement tiles from Marrakech Design.
